Overview

As a Senior Cloud Support Engineer, you will delight our customers with your passion and knowledge of the Snowflake Cloud Data Platform, providing technical guidance and support.

In Short

  • Provide technical support to commercial and public sector customers.
  • Drive technical solutions to complex problems.
  • Adhere to response and resolution SLAs.
  • Utilize the Snowflake environment and tools to investigate issues.
  • Document known solutions to internal and external knowledge base.
  • Submit well-documented bugs and feature requests.
  • Partner with engineering teams in prioritizing customer requests.
  • Participate in incident management and on-call rotation.
  • Provide support coverage during holidays and weekends.
  • Participate in a variety of Support initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 5+ years experience in a Technical Support environment.
  • Good understanding of public cloud providers like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Understanding of security and networking-related concepts.
  • Experience writing, troubleshooting, and debugging SQL queries.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills in English.
  • Strong teaming skills in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot various operating systems.
  • Experience with cloud authentication/access policies.
  • Experience with IT security and cyber security.
