Overview

As a Staff Designated Support Engineer at Snowflake, you will empower enterprises by providing world-class resolutions and building strong relationships with Priority Support customers.

In Short

  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned customers on service delivery issues.
  • Partner with support and account teams to drive the progression of support cases.
  • Collaborate with customers to surface insights and enable productive discussions.
  • Identify trends and complex production issues, ensuring high case quality.
  • Establish regular touchpoints with customers for technical updates.
  • Advocate for customer priorities in account reviews.
  • Drive technical advocacy between customers and product/engineering teams.
  • Lead problem-solving sessions for complex technical challenges.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of assigned accounts’ architecture and use cases.
  • Identify patterns and propose solutions to improve product quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent.
  • 8+ years of experience in Technical Support or Customer Success.
  • Strong communication and writing skills in English.
  • High emotional intelligence and customer advocacy skills.
  • Experience with Data Warehousing, Database migration, and ETL.
  • Advanced SQL expertise and strong RDBMS knowledge.
  • Experience with data integration and analytics tools.
  • Familiarity with major cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting database connectivity.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across global teams.
