Software Engineer - Product Security - Remote

Overview

The Product Security team ensures that Snowflake products are built and shipped with the highest level of security. Our team drives the security development lifecycle of new products in collaboration with multiple product, security and engineering teams. We build software to design and secure production access for employees and protect customer data.

In Short

• Design, build and support software solutions for tracking and securing access to production services and customer data.
• Set direction for security infrastructure used by engineers across the company.
• Must be natively multi-cloud, highly-reliable and scalable.
• 3+ years of experience in software development with languages like JavaScript, Java, Python, C, C++, Go.
• Experience leading project teams and setting technical direction.
• Work with infrastructure from major cloud vendors (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Build security products and frameworks including access control and SSH.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Partner with security, engineering and product teams to define security practices.
• Lead and manage project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in software development.
• Experience with major cloud vendors.
• Experience in building security products.
• Effective communication skills.
