Overview

The Senior Sales Account Manager will support a Sales Director or Regional Sales Manager, responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with key customers, driving sales, and introducing new products.

In Short

  • Accountable for achieving budgeted sales of consumer goods.
  • Develops and maintains business with existing accounts.
  • Drives consumer insights to enhance sales performance.
  • Implements sales plans to promote product lines.
  • Ensures prompt resolution of customer complaints.
  • Provides leadership to Area Sales Managers.
  • Requires extensive travel (up to 75%).
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Requires strong critical thinking and communication skills.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • 2+ years of team management experience.
  • Understanding of Consumer Packaged Goods industry.
  • Experience with IRI, Neilsen data.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships.
