Software Engineer II, FedRamp - Remote

Overview

As a Software Engineer II, you will join the Secure Platform Operations team at Smartsheet, focusing on building secure and reliable infrastructure while being mentored by senior engineers.

In Short

• Lead architecture interviews to meet FedRamp requirements.
• Develop architecture briefing documents for stakeholders.
• Support Continuous Monitoring activities.
• Interpret FedRamp requirements and provide guidance.
• Stay informed of FedRamp guidance and industry best practices.
• Assist in designing secure infrastructure using AWS and Terraform.
• Write code to automate tasks and manage vulnerabilities.
• Integrate security tools into CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage and secure container orchestration platforms.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. National.
• BS or MS in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of IT Security experience.
• Experience supporting FedRamp programs.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Bash.
• Knowledge of AWS and Infrastructure as Code.
• Understanding of security concepts.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
