In Short

• Provide security/cyber security information and guidance as the Smartsheet subject matter expert.
• Represent Smartsheet’s security and compliance capabilities to prospects.
• Partner with sales executives and customer excellence.
• Be a recognized Smartsheet security expert.
• Serve as front-line expert for “best practice” and prospect security issues.
• Work closely with product management and operations.
• Provide support for preparing security responses and knowledge base.
• Occasionally travel to customer sites.
• Assist Sales team on delivering on sales targets.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience as a Sales Engineer or relevant security position.
• Experience working through difficult discussions with customers.
• Deep understanding of security compliance issues.
• Familiarity with SOC2 report formats and security standards.
• Ability to understand and map third party security baselines.
• Experience managing customer Security Assessments or RFPs/RFIs.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high growth software company.
• Willing to travel periodically based on customer needs.
• Currently have or working to obtain CISSP/CISA or GIAC GSEC.
• Strong communication skills.
