In Short

  • Join SmartBear as a junior-level Community Manager.
  • Engage with developers, testers, and quality professionals across multiple community touchpoints.
  • Participate in conversations on forums, GitHub, Discord, and more.
  • Curate and maintain SmartBear Community Forum topics and engagement campaigns.
  • Support the development of SmartBear Academy training resources.
  • Monitor community health and provide insights to internal teams.
  • Collaborate with various teams to route user feedback.
  • Assist in planning community campaigns and initiatives.
  • Grow relationships with open source contributors and onboard new users.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years experience in a community, support, or developer-focused role.
  • Understanding of software development workflows.
  • Working knowledge of QA, DevOps, or developer tooling is a plus.
  • Friendly and empathetic communicator.
  • Strong written communication and content organization skills.
  • Comfortable balancing multiple responsibilities.
  • Motivated by collaboration and continuous learning.
  • Comfortable working in distributed teams and remote-first environments.
  • Interest in testing, APIs, open source, or developer education.
