Senior System Engineer - Remote

Overview

SkyCell is seeking a Senior System Engineer to manage and protect our systems and infrastructure, ensuring data integrity and availability while collaborating with technical stakeholders.

In Short

• Evaluate, design, roll out and manage Azure-based infrastructure and applications.
• Develop and maintain configurations for Microsoft 365 services.
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers for seamless integration and deployment.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Design and implement security measures for systems and networks.
• Utilize Azure Security Center for threat detection and response.
• Develop and maintain backup/restore strategies.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Lead response to critical incidents.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Requirements

• Proven experience with Azure Infrastructure and Microsoft 365 services.
• Strong understanding of security measures and compliance standards.
• Experience in system performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Ability to lead incident response and resolution.
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in providing tier-3 support.
• Ability to generate reports on system performance and security incidents.
• Experience in strategic planning for IT infrastructure.
• Mentorship experience is a plus.
