Administer instances of on cloud(Azure&AWS) and on premises Databases.
Optimise database maintenance plan & fix high availability database server issues.
Perform database maintenance/task streamlining.
Investigate backup/restore issues.
Optimise database replication and disaster recovery.
Second tier incident management.
Investigation of root cause of incidents and proposal of short-term and long-term solutions.
Perform on demand database backup and restore.
Monitor SQL server cluster performance and anticipate issues.
Patch/Update of database servers/infrastructure.
Assist in automation of on demand database backups.
Respond to requests for database creation, user privilege assignment.

Requirements

Bachelor's plus minimum of 10 years' of relevant professional experience in IT
Fluency, in English, to at least B2 level according to the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
Professional experience with cloud(Azure&AWS) and on premises Databases.
Professional experience with SQL server.
Strong knowledge with database technologies, especially Microsoft SQL and MySQL/Maria DB
Strong interest in technology and a desire to learn and grow in applicable technologies field is required. Skills and knowledge must be kept current.
