Global HR Director - Remote

Overview

We're looking for a hands-on HR leader to cover maternity leave and lead our global HR team. You'll work directly with local HR Directors across our international offices, balancing strategic leadership with day-to-day operational involvement to maintain momentum during this interim period.

In Short

• Lead the global HR team and function, providing strategic direction aligned with organisational goals while maintaining hands-on involvement in key operations
• Partner with our executive leadership team to develop and implement HR initiatives that support business objectives
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across all regions to ensure consistent HR support globally
• Drive and enhance company culture and employee engagement initiatives during the transition period
• Oversee succession planning and talent development, including direct involvement in key decisions
• Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, turning strategy into actionable programs
• Monitor and optimise organisational structure while leading change management initiatives as needed
• Support leadership development and performance management processes, working directly with the L&D team
• Partner with regional HR teams to ensure legal compliance and handle complex employee relations issues across all locations
• Maintain and update HR policies while minimising compliance and legal risks
• Drive the annual salary review process and support employee equity grants and compliance in ShareWorks

Requirements

• Proven experience as a hands-on HR leader who can both strategise and execute
• Track record of supporting executives while managing day-to-day HR operations
• Experience leading international HR teams preferred but not essential
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proven track record of strategic HR leadership
• Ability to step into role quickly and maintain continuity
