Overview

As a Senior Strategic Account Manager at Shippo, you will lead a book of strategic accounts and drive initiatives to ensure successful shipping solutions for e-commerce businesses.

In Short

  • Own and manage strategic accounts within the logistics software space.
  • Provide excellent service and market analysis to resolve challenges.
  • Develop partnership strategies and negotiate renewals.
  • Engage with accounts to identify operational improvements.
  • Analyze performance and present findings to clients.
  • Leverage cross-functional teams for account support.
  • Build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders.
  • Forecast/manage shipment volume and revenue expectations.
  • Serve as escalation contact for implementation issues.
  • Collaborate with Solutions Engineering, Customer Support, and Product teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in enterprise software account management.
  • Experience with technology partners and integrations.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to identify customer fulfillment needs.
  • Experience with Excel, SQL, or Business Intelligence tools.
  • Detail-oriented with a strategic problem-solving track record.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Technically oriented with an understanding of APIs.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to drive initiatives.
