Overview

The Senior Business Development Manager at SGS will be responsible for generating leads and sales through the development of client and prospect relationships, while maintaining and expanding current accounts.

• Generate leads and sales through client and prospect relationship development.
• Close sales on prospective clients and maintain functional relationships with major accounts.
• Develop relationships with current clients to maintain business and obtain additional business.
• Obtain master service agreements with prospective clients.
• Conduct market research to assist in annual marketing and sales planning.
• Attend conferences and assist with marketing and sales activities.
• Generate proposals for existing clients and prospects.
• Assist in developing marketing materials.
• Follow-up with new clients to ensure satisfaction and expand business.
• Participate in industry organizations to promote the company.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 7+ years of experience in business development and/or sales required.
