At Serve Robotics, we’re reimagining how things move in cities. Our personable sidewalk robot is our vision for the future. It’s designed to take deliveries away from congested streets, make deliveries available to more people, and benefit local businesses.

The Serve fleet has been delighting merchants, customers, and pedestrians along the way in Los Angeles while doing commercial deliveries. We’re looking for talented individuals who will grow robotic deliveries from surprising novelty to efficient ubiquity.

In Short

• Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive safety strategies for delivery operations.
• Conduct safety assessments, audits, and inspections.
• Define and articulate the company's safety vision and strategy.
• Build and manage a team focused on Trust & Safety.
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and operations teams.
• Oversee safety-related projects ensuring timely completion.
• Communicate safety strategy to partners and regulators.
• Develop and implement safety training programs.
• Investigate accidents and recommend corrective actions.

Requirements

• BS Degree in Computer Science, engineering, or related field with at least 8+ years of experience in safety-focused industries.
• Deep technical expertise in safety engineering in high-tech environments.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with stakeholders.
• Ability to solve complex safety problems.
• Hands-on skills in data analysis.
• Experience with risk and reliability functions.
