Overview

CrossFit seeks a highly skilled and experienced Head of Sport Safety to join our SPORT team. This role will oversee the development, implementation, and ongoing refinement of safety protocols for the CrossFit Sport team throughout the year.

In Short

• Oversee and manage all safety aspects for the CrossFit Games.
• Serve as the primary communicator for safety-related information.
• Develop and implement comprehensive safety strategies and protocols.
• Publish and disseminate safety guidelines and best practices.
• Monitor the effectiveness of safety measures and continuously improve standards.
• Serve as the primary liaison with the Safety Advisory Board.
• Demonstrate a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset.
• Build collaborative relationships with diverse teams.
• Manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Commit to fostering a culture of safety in athletic environments.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in a safety management role.
• Extensive leadership and operational experience.
• Certifications: First Aid, CPR, and AED required.
• Additional certifications in safety management are desirable.
• Flexibility to travel frequently and work evenings or weekends.
• Commitment to staying current with industry trends.
