Corporate Counsel - Remote

Overview

Seamless is looking for a strategic, execution-focused Corporate Counsel who knows how to turn complex legal, privacy, and compliance requirements into clear pathways for business growth. In this role, you will drive our day-to-day legal operations, lead our global privacy program, and manage the deal desk for both vendor and customer contracts—protecting the company while accelerating revenue.

In Short

• Execute global privacy compliance efforts (GDPR, CPRA).
• Manage day-to-day privacy operations.
• Lead the negotiation of commercial contracts and SaaS agreements.
• Streamline the contract lifecycle management process.
• Advise Product and Engineering teams on legal implications.
• Provide legal guidance to HR on employment matters.
• Manage legal operations infrastructure.
• Deliver internal training programs on data privacy.
• Coordinate workflows with external legal support.
• Build strong relationships with business partners.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice law.
• 3-5+ years of relevant legal experience.
• Familiarity with SaaS procurement models and vendor security reviews.
• Understanding of public APIs and open-access data terms.
• Experience with legal tech tools and coordinating with outside counsel.
• CIPP certification is a strong plus.
