Overview

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Sauce, you’ll be the first voice a restaurant hears. Your job is to start the conversation: identify the right prospects, spark their curiosity, and set up high-quality meetings for our Account Executives.

In Short

  • Prospect daily via cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn to restaurants that fit our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
  • Personalize outreach to help prospects understand how Sauce’s 0% commission model and delivery tech can solve real problems.
  • Qualify leads based on business model, cuisine type, delivery volume, and online presence.
  • Book meetings that convert to valuable opportunities.
  • Update the CRM consistently with notes and task completion.
  • Collaborate with AEs and sales leaders to refine messaging.
  • Follow up creatively and persistently with warm leads.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of outbound sales experience, ideally in SaaS or restaurant tech.
  • Confident communicator who can engage on cold calls or write effective DMs.
  • Organized and metrics-driven.
  • Responsive to coaching and thrives in a high-feedback environment.
  • Experience with tools like HubSpot, Slack, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
