Overview

In the Technical Sales Specialist role, you will be responsible for the growth of revenue by proactive sales of the scientific instruments and developing strong customer relations according to the organizational strategy.

In Short

  • Promote and sell scientific instruments and services within the assigned region.
  • Achieve sales and profit goals.
  • Maintain and expand customer base.
  • Coordinate marketing activities in assigned territory.
  • Manage and build strong customer relationships.
  • Provide weekly updates of quarterly and yearly forecast models.
  • Direct interaction with customers to promote products.
  • Manage territory budget and expenses.
  • Travel within territory as required.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in capital equipment sales.
  • Experience in biotechnology or technical equipment scientific sales.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in negotiating pricing and terms.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Tableau, and LinkedIn Navigator.
  • Good teamwork skills.
  • Value-based selling skills.
  • Active listening and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented.
  • Passion for teamwork and collaboration.
