Overview

Samsara is seeking a high-impact Sales Engineer - Specialists, Emerging Products to bring our newest product lines to market at scale. This is a strategic overlay role working in partnership with our most senior Account Executives (AEs) across our Enterprise accounts.

In Short

  • Remote role requiring travel up to 50%.
  • Lead the charge in scaling early-stage products.
  • Influence go-to-market strategies and own proof of value.
  • Build genuine relationships with customers.
  • Work with sales to drive pilot strategy and success metrics.
  • Demonstrate the value proposition of Samsara’s emerging products.
  • Collaborate with Product Management for feedback and development.
  • Facilitate live proof-of-concept trials for prospective customers.
  • Experience with big data technologies like Databricks and Spark.
  • 5+ years in customer-facing roles and 3+ years in pre-sales.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in customer-facing roles.
  • 3+ years of pre-sales experience.
  • Experience with Enterprise sales cycles.
  • Track record selling complex solutions.
  • Understanding of value selling and MEDDICC.
  • Experience in overlay or new product launches.
  • Comfort in presenting to C-suite executives.
  • Ability to operate strategically with senior AEs.
  • Experience with IoT, cloud software, and networking.
  • Experience working with Fleet, Logistics, or Supply Chain.
