Overview

We’re looking for a Controller to build and run the financial engine that powers Runway’s growth, ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial operations.

In Short

• Own the monthly close process for accurate financial reporting.
• Develop accounting policies in accordance with GAAP.
• Manage accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and collections.
• Oversee tax filings and coordinate with external accountants.
• Partner with Head of Finance for budgeting and forecasting.
• Drive automation in financial processes.
• Implement sales tax compliance software.
• Prepare materials for board meetings and investor updates.
• Support fundraising and financial audits.
• Build internal controls for audits.

• Experience with early-stage startups.
