Overview

The Strategic Sales Representative will be a key member of the Business Communications Solutions business unit, focused on driving significant growth by targeting and securing high-value, strategic accounts.

In Short

  • Identify and research new customer opportunities
  • Organize and participate in discovery meetings with clients
  • Develop business plans for each account
  • Prepare proposals and quotations for customers
  • Maintain knowledge of client business needs
  • Recommend additional solutions and services
  • Develop sales skills by working closely with experienced representatives
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process
  • Forecast accurately and maintain records in Salesforce.com
  • Participate in special projects as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree related to the function
  • 1+ years of relevant work experience or completion of a Sales Associate Development Program
  • Strategic or enterprise sales experience preferred
  • Exceptional business acumen and customer focus
  • Able to analyze and interpret data
  • Strong knowledge of the selling cycle
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Desire to continuously learn about RRD’s products & services
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Functional computer knowledge
  • Salesforce.com knowledge preferred
