Overview

The Technical Field Sales Representative is responsible for creating demand and managing relationships for energy storage and power conversion products in the Minnesota market.

  • Build and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers.

  • Initiate regular visits to customer facilities.

  • Train and mentor junior staff.
  • Attend supplier training events.
  • Manage supplier databases and design registration information.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of related sales experience.
  • 4-year degree required.
  • Strong understanding of power electronics components.
  • Sales experience in a distribution channel preferred.
  • Must have industry knowledge and drive to succeed.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus.
  • Experience with Silicon Carbide and GaN designs is a plus.
  • Understanding of renewable energy markets.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Strong relationship management skills.
