Development Manager (Industrial Real Estate Development) - Remote

Overview

This role will be responsible for managing the predevelopment phase of industrial renovation and redevelopment throughout Southern California.

In Short

• Manage the predevelopment phase of industrial renovation and redevelopment.
• Act as the primary point of contact for project approvals.
• Coordinate with city staff and external consultants.
• Lead discussions on CEQA and land use strategy.
• Prepare for and attend project-related meetings and public hearings.
• Maintain communication with internal stakeholders.
• Review and approve Conditions of Approvals.
• Manage day-to-day application processing.
• Work with construction teams to obtain permits.
• Ensure documentation is complete and accurate.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years in real estate development management.
• Experience in planning, entitlements, and CEQA.
• Strong understanding of local planning processes.
• Experience with zoning and codes.
• Ability to work with regulatory bodies.
• Strong relationship building and negotiation skills.
• Disciplined in project management and reporting.
• Comfortable in a fast-changing environment.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience with ESG and community engagement.
