Remote Industrial Water & Wastewater Business Development Manager

Overview

This position is for a Remote Industrial Water & Wastewater Business Development Manager at Veolia Water Technologies, Inc., focusing on promoting and expanding sales of various water treatment products.

In Short

• Direct sales and business development responsibility for assigned products.
• Achieve or exceed sales volume through technical sales support.
• Develop and expand new business opportunities.
• Qualify and follow-up on all sales leads.
• Conduct sales calls on engineers, EPCs, and end users.
• Attend trade shows as required.
• Coordinate with the marketing department.
• Interact with office process and engineering staff.
• Write proposals with office support staff.
• Prepare sales forecasts as required.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in industrial wastewater treatment sales.
• Bachelor of Science Degree in an engineering discipline.
• High degree of technical competence in wastewater treatment systems.
• Exceptional communication skills (oral and written).
• Understanding of buying influences in the light industrial market.
• Experience in sales of various water treatment systems is a plus.
• Travel requirement of approximately 20 - 25%.
