Traveling Field Service Representative - PLC Technician - Remote

Overview

The Traveling Field Service Representative will focus on effective commissioning of complex services projects, providing world-class support to customers, and managing customer issues to closure through both on-site and remote access.

In Short

• Responsible for commissioning Water Treatment Projects.
• Resolve customer issues and lead necessary experts to resolution.
• Implement plant optimization techniques and PLC/HMI controls.
• Train and mentor in-house staff and partners.
• Communicate effectively with services and product teams.
• Manage customer expectations and maintain high standards.
• Travel extensively, up to 80% of the time.
• Work in various industrial environments.
• Provide feedback for product and system design improvements.
• Ensure compliance with EHS and design standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or chemistry preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in water/wastewater treatment projects.
• Working knowledge of PLC & HMI/SCADA programming.
• Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience in Root Cause Analysis tools.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and people management skills.
• Knowledge of Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions products.
• Mathematical skills for various operations.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new problems and situations.
