Overview

Resilience is seeking a highly-motivated cyber insurance or privacy attorney to join its global Claims and Incident Management team, focusing on building a holistic cyber risk management model.

In Short

• Act as a member of the Resilience Claims' internal emergency response team.
• Conduct investigations and manage cyber and Technology Errors & Omissions claims.
• Evaluate coverage and prepare communications related to claims.
• Collaborate with security and technology teams to enhance customer interaction.
• Manage external counsel and service providers during incidents.
• Ensure clear communication with stakeholders including insureds and brokers.
• Keep claims files documented and accurate.
• Utilize data/analytics to refine risk selection approach.
• Oversee litigation and related expenses.
• Coordinate with underwriting team for quality business retention.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in cyber insurance.
• Expertise in handling third-party claims.
• Established connections within cyber broking and law firms.
• Familiarity with Canadian market experience is a plus.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
