Overview

The Strategic Account Manager II is responsible for managing and selling Renaissance Learning’s products and services within assigned territory, focusing on achieving revenue goals through various sales strategies.

In Short

  • Drive new business and manage customer renewals.

  • Consultative selling aligned to customers’ objectives.

  • Maintain strong knowledge of the ed tech space and competition.
  • Build credibility and rapport with customers.
  • Regular travel for customer engagements and conferences.
  • 3+ years of high volume sales experience required.
  • Proficient in collaboration tools and CRMs.
  • Excellent communication skills are necessary.

Requirements

  • 3+ years with prior experience in high volume sales (e.g. SaaS or B2B).
  • Proficient in collaboration tools (e.g., Outlook, Microsoft Teams).
  • Familiarity with CRMs and other sales technology (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Experience in education sales preferred.
  • Knowledge of education customers and their organizational structures.
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness and creative problem-solving skills.
