VAT Analyst (Fixed-term Contract) - Remote

Overview

This is an exciting time to join Remote and make a personal difference in the global employment space as a VAT Analyst, joining our VAT Team (Finance team). This role is a 12 month fixed-term position.

In Short

• Prepare and submit VAT Returns and connected reports in various jurisdictions.
• Work with tax advisors for VAT obligations.
• Reconcile VAT accounts and analyze discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws.
• Assist in VAT registrations and audits.
• Monitor legislative changes in VAT laws.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Work with the tax technology team for data accuracy.
• Support on ad hoc research and projects.
• Collaborate with accounts payable and receivable teams.

Requirements

• Experience in a Tax department, preferably in a big 4 environment.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, or similar.
• Fluent in English.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with SAP is a plus.
• Team-player mentality.
• Ability to work remotely is a plus.
