Junior Operational Risk Analyst - Fixed Term Contract - Remote

In Short

• Assist in carrying out and preparing Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs)
• Support the day-to-day tasks in the operational activities of non-financial risk management and controlling processes
• Provide support in executing Operational Risk Management (ORM) processes
• Contribute to the maintenance of the systems for Key Risk Indicators Non-Financial Risk
• Produce management reports
• Record, escalate and follow up the internal losses/incidents
• Support business areas in the ongoing implementation of the measures

Requirements

• Educational degree in Economics, Business Administration, Risk Management, Political Science, Information Technology, Accounting, or any other related field
• Internship or working student experience in Risk Management, Compliance, Internal Audit, or other 2nd line functions; ideally within a financial institution, bank, or a comparable environment
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office, with a general aptitude for working with technology
• Basic understanding of banking laws and regulatory frameworks
• Very good written and spoken English skills; German language skills are a plus
• High level of integrity and a team-oriented mindset
• Analytical and detail-focused approach
• Very good communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy, while contributing effectively to the team
