Senior Legal Counsel, Core - Remote

This is an exciting time to join Remote and make a personal difference in the global HR-tech space as a Senior Legal Counsel, joining our Legal team. We are looking for a talented and eager lawyer, who is interested in helping with our team’s mission: supercharging our business through the provision of excellent legal advice and implementation of solid legal processes.

In Short

• Support and partner with different internal stakeholders.
• Proactively identify areas for improvement in legal processes.
• Conduct in-depth legal research on new products and laws.
• Drive the development of the legal function within Remote.
• Mentor and train junior legal team members.
• Manage relationships with Local Counsel for escalated matters.
• Identify and propose innovative solutions to legal problems.
• Collaborate with the Legal Ops team on efficiency projects.
• Manage internal and client escalations effectively.
• Shape the legal department and mentor junior members.

Requirements

• Experienced and qualified lawyer.
• Interest in HR-tech and tech-scaleups.
• Extensive experience in labor and employment law.
• Ability to learn various legal systems and tools.
• Creative legal thinker with excellent communication skills.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and lead projects.
• Experience mentoring junior legal professionals.
• Remote work experience is a plus.
