This is an exciting time to join Remote and make a personal difference in the global HR-tech space as a Senior Legal Counsel, joining our Legal team. We are looking for a talented and experienced legal professional to support Remote’s expansion and legal initiatives across multiple jurisdictions.

In Short

• Support internal stakeholders such as Sales, Customer Care, and Customer Success Managers.
• Develop excellent template contracts and knowledge resources for products.
• Lead the review and development of contract templates for various countries.
• Conduct in-depth legal research on new products and laws.
• Drive the development and enhancement of the legal function.
• Mentor and support junior legal team members.
• Manage relationships with Local Counsel for escalated legal matters.
• Proactively identify and propose innovative legal solutions.
• Collaborate with Legal Ops on efficiency and AI projects.

Requirements

• Qualified Lawyer (mandatory).
• Location flexibility in the USA, Canada, or LATAM.
• Ability to learn and master Remote's communication and management tools.
• Excellent analytical and legal skills.
• Extensive experience in labor and employment law and/or international compliance.
• Eager to learn about different legal systems and employment laws.
• Creative legal thinker for innovative solutions.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages helpful.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and lead legal projects.
• Experience in mentoring junior legal professionals.
