Overview

This role involves leading a Civilian Account team to sell Red Hat's high-tech offerings and services, aiming to increase market share and revenue.

In Short

  • Lead the Civilian Account team in sales efforts.
  • Build new relationships and improve existing customer business.
  • Manage all aspects of the sale, including pricing and contracts.
  • Work with partner sales and IT executives.
  • Meet performance goals and sales quotas.
  • Forecast and close sales in line with company goals.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans.
  • Provide technical and administrative information to customers.
  • Demonstrate a solutions sales mentality.
  • Work as part of a dynamic team while showing initiative.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of enterprise sales experience.
  • Experience in software or IT sales preferred.
  • Solid understanding of the complete sales cycle.
  • Ability to sell at the executive level.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with government acquisition processes.
  • Consultative customer engagement experience.
  • Experience with cloud and virtualization technologies.
  • Knowledge of MEDDPICC sales framework is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
