Overview

The Key Account Manager will play a pivotal role in driving sales efforts, forging strategic partnerships, and expanding the client base while maintaining and developing relationships with clients in Italy.

In Short

  • Expand and consolidate presence in the assigned territory.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with partners (tour operators, travel agencies, etc.).
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify growth opportunities.
  • Provide system training to existing and new partners.
  • Position the brand within the travel trade through presentations and events.
  • Address incident issues and ensure partner support.
  • Oversee and ensure accuracy in transaction processing.
  • Spend approximately 40% of working time on business trips.
  • Conduct market and competitive environment analysis.
  • Provide regular reporting through CRM and internal systems.
  • Maximize and develop API deals with partners.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development or sales management.
  • Strong understanding of the travel industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and competitive landscape.
  • Experience with CRM systems.
  • Willingness to travel frequently.
  • Fluency in English and Italian.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
