Quartzy is seeking a Life Science Community Manager to foster engagement, collaboration and knowledge sharing in our vibrant community of lab operations professionals. This role is central to our strategy to grow awareness, build trust, and turn lab professionals into loyal advocates of the Quartzy platform.

In Short

• Serve as the front line of our brand across our online community platform and social media.
• Engage with users, moderate discussions, and highlight community stories.
• Monitor online conversations and emerging trends.
• Develop playbooks and community guidelines.
• Build trust and foster long-term relationships with audiences.
• Collect community feedback and insights for Product teams.
• Collaborate with content creators to ensure scientifically sound responses.
• Write blog posts, case studies, and other content.
• Organize and run virtual events like webinars and meetups.
• Track and report on engagement metrics.

Requirements

• 2 - 4 years of experience in community engagement.
• Previous experience in the life sciences industry.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Comfortable with technical/scientific subject matter.
• Experience with design tools like Canva or Figma.
• Familiarity with community management platforms and email platforms.
• Proactive, curious, and resourceful.
• Outgoing and able to communicate complex ideas engagingly.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
