In Short

• Develop and maintain a solid working knowledge of the company's business, products and services, and industry trends.
• Advise internal clients on legal issues pertaining to contracts and licensing.
• Lead projects with cross-functional teams to improve legal support processes.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and licenses.
• Create and update contract templates and playbooks.
• Advise on contract negotiation thresholds and acceptance issues.
• Support escalations and advise on commercial disputes.
• Collaborate with legal team on data protection and security practices.
• Identify legal risks and provide proactive solutions.
• Work effectively with external counsel as needed.

Requirements

• Law degree from a reputable university.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant in-house experience as a commercial lawyer.
• Experience in the technology industry focusing on software and SaaS.
• Ability to assess risk and provide concise legal advice.
• Self-motivated problem solver and team player.
• Comfortable working independently in a dynamic environment.
