Overview

The Business Development Representative (BDR) is a remote position responsible for generating new business opportunities with churches that are not currently customers of Outreach.

In Short

  • Identify and engage prospective church customers through various outreach methods.
  • Conduct a minimum of 20 meaningful sales conversations per week.
  • Present and demonstrate Outreach products and solutions.
  • Guide churches through the sales process.
  • Close new accounts and drive product adoption.
  • Follow up on warm leads and document all activities in CRM.
  • Cultivate relationships with decision-makers within churches.
  • Maintain accurate records of activity and progress reports.
  • Respond to live chat inquiries from the Outreach website.
  • Participate in church marketing events as a representative of Outreach.

Requirements

  • Minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute.
  • Experience with CRM systems.
  • Proficient with computer skills and platforms.
  • Strong customer focus and service orientation.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Strong work ethic and dependability.
  • 7 years of sales experience.
  • 3 years of church ministry experience.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred.
