Staff Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) - Remote

Overview

The Staff Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) will be responsible for creating and maintaining Outreach's Kubernetes platform and cloud infrastructure, ensuring reliability and performance for engineering teams.

In Short

• Work on improving the Kubernetes platform and cloud configuration.
• Maintain and enhance Kubernetes clusters (EKS & AKS).
• Implement new tools and projects like Karpenter and KEDA.
• Improve infrastructure management by replacing outdated parts.
• Support other engineers at Outreach.
• Participate in on-call rotation as a team.
• Research new technologies for operational efficiency.
• Drive medium-sized technical projects independently.
• Encourage team chemistry through monthly meetups.
• Engage with incoming requests on a dedicated Slack channel.

Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Azure Cloud.
• Experience with production K8s clusters.
• Ability to investigate K8s problems.
• Proficient in any IaC tool, preferably Terraform.
• Proficient in Linux-based systems.
• Experience with version control systems like GitHub.
• Proficient in scripting languages (Bash, Python).
• Proficiency in Golang is a plus.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Team player with a willingness to learn and grow.
