Overview

The primary purpose of the Account Manager is to retain current customers and identify opportunities to grow or expand their presence and usage across the platform, driving value and adoption within an assigned territory.

  • Manage a high volume of accounts with proactive engagement to drive customer value and adoption.
  • Develop territory strategy plans using data to drive adoption and customer sentiment.
  • Manage the renewal, expansion, and cross-sell of current Outreach customers.
  • Build partnerships with customers for value realization and business process optimization.
  • Apply best practices from Outreach customers to consulting with others.
  • Influence key stakeholders to achieve customer goals and remove roadblocks.
  • Apply technical proficiency to troubleshoot issues and collaborate with teams.
  • Support onboarding processes for seamless implementation.
  • Update systems of record to ensure data accuracy.
  • Forecast renewals and expansion pipeline accurately.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • At least two years of sales lifecycle management or customer success experience, preferably in SaaS.
  • Strong business acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Project management and effective problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to synthesize data from multiple sources for decision-making.
  • Deep understanding of sales operations and methodologies.
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to showcase metrics.
  • Effective communication and active listening skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and partnerships.
  • Team player with initiative to drive opportunities forward.
