Overview

The Account Manager is the client’s main point of contact, managing relationships with Airline, Cruise Line, and Hotel partners while ensuring the best interests of clients and API.

In Short

  • Manage existing API accounts to maximize relationships and revenue.
  • Assist in sourcing destinations and initiating the RFP process.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of RFP results and client presentations.
  • Conduct hotel site inspections and execute contract negotiations.
  • Monitor market conditions for competitive rates and terms.
  • Collaborate with sales team to meet client needs and share leads.
  • Manage crew member feedback and ensure hotel information is accurate.
  • Verify contract information in internal systems.
  • Ensure all revenue opportunities are recorded in the CRM.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain client relationships.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in the travel industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel.
  • Ability to manage workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer service and client relationship skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively.
  • Flexibility in schedule and travel availability.
  • Bi-lingual skills are a plus.
