Overview

API is seeking seasoned professional to join our company in the role of an Account Manager. The position will be based remotely in the UK, London region. The Account Manager is the client’s main point of contact. These roles will actively manage existing client relationships with our rail partners; focused on the best interests of our clients and API at all times.

In Short

  • Oversee existing API accounts to maximize relationships and expand market share.
  • Assist with sourcing destinations and initiate the RFP process.
  • Ensure RFP results are documented accurately in client presentations.
  • Conduct hotel site inspections as needed.
  • Execute hotel contract negotiations and monitor market conditions.
  • Manage client communications and ensure needs are met.
  • Verify hotel contract information in the CRM.
  • Work closely with the sales team and Business Development team.
  • Travel up to 25% as required.
  • Maintain strong relationships with hotels and clients.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in the travel industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, or related field.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer service and client relationship skills.
  • Attention to detail and high-quality work production.
  • Ability to work with diverse cultures.
  • Organized self-starter capable of working independently.
  • Flexible schedule and ability to travel as needed.
