Overview

Ontic is seeking an experienced Sales Development Representative to support its Federal Government sales efforts, focusing on building relationships and identifying qualified opportunities.

In Short

  • Research and identify key federal government agencies and decision-makers.
  • Follow up on inbound marketing leads and identify qualified opportunities.
  • Create target prospects lists and collaborate with Federal Account Executive.
  • Develop partnerships with Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Meet or exceed call and email quotas.
  • Profile strategic FedGov accounts and present solutions.
  • Set meetings for the Federal Government go-to-market team.
  • Nurture marketing leads until they are sales-ready.
  • Execute account-based campaigns with Marketing and Sales.
  • Maintain accurate records in Salesforce.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of Sales Development or Business Development experience.
  • Familiarity with FedGov procurement or public sector sales.
  • Exceptional communication and listening skills.
  • Experience in an Account-Based Everything environment.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • Process-oriented with attention to detail.
  • High integrity and commitment.
  • Proactive team player in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adept computer skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce and other sales tools preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma required.
