Overview

O-I is seeking a dynamic and experienced Legal Counsel – Securities, Corporate Governance & Capital Markets to join our global legal team, providing strategic legal counsel on a wide range of securities and corporate governance matters.

In Short

• Position for a mid-level attorney with 3–8 years of experience.
• Advising on securities law and corporate governance issues.
• Drafting and reviewing SEC filings and regulatory disclosures.
• Providing legal support for capital markets transactions.
• Managing public company obligations and insider trading policies.
• Supporting board and committee matters.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Leading or contributing to special projects.
• Maintaining governance documents and policies.
• 10-20% travel required.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with a U.S. state bar.
• 3–8 years of relevant legal experience in securities and corporate governance.
• Experience preparing SEC filings and public disclosures.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience with electronic board portals and SEC reporting tools.
