Senior Corporate Governance & Securities Paralegal - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Corporate Governance & Securities Paralegal to join our legal team at MeridianLink. In this critical role, you will play a key part in supporting a broad range of public company governance, securities reporting, and compliance matters.

In Short

• Support the preparation and filing of SEC reports.
• Manage the administration of the annual meeting of stockholders.
• Assist with the preparation of proxy statements.
• Coordinate board and committee meetings.
• Maintain corporate records and governance policies.
• Assist with subsidiary management and corporate entity maintenance.
• Support internal and external audits and regulatory inquiries.
• Work on corporate transactions and due diligence efforts.
• Maintain and improve legal operations systems.
• Help develop scalable processes for governance workflows.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant experience in public company governance.
• Bachelor's degree required; ABA-approved paralegal program is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. securities laws.
• Independent and strategic thinker.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and project management skills.
• Effective planning and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with legal operations tools.
