Senior Data Architect - Remote

Overview

The Envista Senior Data Architect is a critical member of the enterprise data and analytics (D&A) team, responsible for modernizing and transforming data and reporting capabilities.

In Short

• Architect complex data solutions in Azure and Snowflake environments.
• Guide migration from On-Prem to Cloud data solutions.
• Build and support cloud data pipelines.
• Implement automation for deployment using CI/CD.
• Perform unit and integration testing of data pipelines.
• Collaborate with analysts to translate business requirements into datasets.
• Document data pipelines for maintainability.
• Design data architecture for future platform growth.
• Engage in stakeholder workshops to gather requirements.
• Mentor team members and advocate for best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Computer Science/Engineering or related field with 12 years of experience OR Master’s with 8 years.
• 4+ years experience with Azure and Snowflake.
• Hands-on data modeling experience.
• Experience in full life cycle data analytics development.
• Strong SQL and Python skills.
• Proficiency in performance tuning ETLs/ELTs.
• Agile development methodology experience.
• Experience with Data Ingestion tools like ADF.
• Ability to be a team player and mentor.
• Experience with Master Data Management tools is a plus.
