In Short

• We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to drive RDBMS, Warehousing and BigData solutions for our global BookData business.
• You will work with and be responsible for curating the largest English-language bibliographic metadata and book sales measurement data sets in the world.
• Design and develop enterprise database solutions.
• Optimize data storage and retrieval processes.
• Troubleshoot performance issues.
• Implement data privacy and security measures.
• Participate in cross-functional projects with other developers.
• Contribute to overall data architecture and standards.
• Report daily progress and blockers to scrum master.

Requirements

• 7+ years in a Data Engineering role.
• Proficient in SQL.
• Experience in Data Modelling.
• Familiarity with ETL processes.
• Experience with Oracle RDBMS (Postgres or SQLServer also considered).
• Knowledge of Data Warehousing Design.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong analytical skills.
