Lead Data Scientist - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Lead Data Scientist to help shape and activate innovative processes that redefine how we measure consumer shopping behavior within a global team.

In Short

• Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for measurement innovation across Europe.
• Collaborate with in-market and global teams for product rollout and quality assurance.
• Translate methodological frameworks into market-specific implementations.
• Strong knowledge of consumer behavior and metrics.
• Experience with data engineering and process optimization.
• Proficient in Python and R for data extraction and visualization.
• Knowledge of Databricks and PySpark.
• Experience with SQL and large-scale databases.
• Basic knowledge of the European market.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields.
• 3+ years of experience in FMCG/Retail/Consumer Research.
• Strong aptitude for data analysis and manipulation.
• Experience with PowerBI and Shiny Apps is a plus.
• Ability to manage projects and coordinate teams effectively.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
