In Short

• Lead the development of reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems.
• Design AI solutions using Python, computer vision, and generative models.
• Build autonomous AI agents to support reasoning and decision-making in healthcare.
• Collaborate with business teams to embed AI into Humana’s systems and workflows.
• Implement best practices for deploying and maintaining AI models in production.
• Guide the strategic decision-making in collaboration with data scientists and engineers.
• Lead the development and maintenance of complex machine learning models.
• Design robust monitoring capabilities for optimal performance.
• Communicate AI capabilities clearly to stakeholders.
• Work in a remote environment with occasional travel for training or meetings.

Requirements

• Master's Degree and 5+ years of experience in research/ML engineering.
• 2+ years of experience leading development of AI/ML systems.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data analysis tools.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks like Scikit-Learn, Tensorflow, or Pytorch.
• Experience with language modeling and reinforcement learning.
• Experience with large-scale ETL processes.
• Experience collaborating with MLOps and DevOps teams.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to design for scalability and compliance.
• Ph.D. in a related field is preferred.
