Financial Controller - Remote

Overview

The Financial Controller will manage the local controllership function and ensure smooth financial operations for the NIQ UZ Business while ensuring compliance with local and global regulations.

In Short

• Manage local financial operations for NIQ UZ Business.
• Ensure compliance with local statutory and tax regulations.
• Drive financial reporting activities in SAP/Onestream.
• Review and sign-off Monthly Account Reconciliations.
• Act as the main point of contact for banking operations and auditors.
• Support local commercial and operations leadership.
• Implement standardization and simplification initiatives.
• Maintain internal controls and SOX documentation.
• Coordinate with Group Controller and Global teams.
• Handle ad hoc requests related to accounting and reporting.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience as Chief Accountant/Finance Manager in Uzbekistan.
• University degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance.
• Knowledge of Local GAAPs (UzNAS) and US GAAP.
• Understanding of Corporate Income Tax and transfer pricing regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of SAP.
• Intermediate or higher English proficiency.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to take initiative and ownership.
