Financial Controller - Remote

Overview

The primary mission of the Financial Controller is to ensure the financial integrity and operational excellence of Merit America's accounting functions. This role will lead all accounting operations, ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, maintain a robust system of internal controls and compliance, and serve as the expert on financial risk and safeguarding of company assets.

In Short

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes.

Requirements

• Significant experience in accounting and financial reporting.
• Expertise in non-profit accounting principles.
• Experience with ERP and accounting operations systems.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• CPA license is a plus.
• Experience managing multi-entity accounting.
• Experience with FP&A functions.
