Associate General Counsel, Securities & M&A - Remote

Overview

NIQ is seeking a highly-skilled and business-oriented attorney with 7-10 years of experience in securities law and M&A to join our in-house legal team. The candidate will support securities law compliance, corporate governance, mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, equity investments, licensing, alliances and other sophisticated corporate transactions on a global scale.

In Short

• Advise on US federal securities law compliance.
• Prepare and review SEC filings.
• Serve as a lead attorney on domestic and international M&A.

• Experience in the technology sector preferred.
• Must have a J.D. and be admitted to practice.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience required.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in securities law and M&A.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. securities laws.
• Experience with cross-border regulatory issues.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Strong analytical and drafting skills.
• Team player with cross-functional collaboration experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in a public company environment preferred.
• Familiarity with executive compensation matters.
