Associate General Counsel - Remote

Overview

The Associate General Counsel will play a critical role in supporting Atropos Health’s legal team across a broad spectrum of matters, handling diverse legal challenges in a fast-paced startup environment.

In Short

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements.
• Develop and maintain contract templates and playbooks.
• Support IP strategy including patent prosecution and trademark registration.
• Monitor compliance with healthcare regulations and data privacy laws.
• Provide guidance on employment law compliance and draft employment agreements.
• Assist with corporate governance matters and support financing transactions.
• Provide general legal counsel on business operations.
• Maintain corporate records and legal documentation systems.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Licensed attorney in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 2-4 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in a startup environment.
• Strong background in commercial contracting and business transactions.
• Experience with intellectual property law.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong business acumen and solution-oriented legal advice.
